“I hired 3Design3 to do a complete overhaul and redesign of my website, blog, and branding, including some graphic design work. She designed a new custom website and created the blog, set up new email accounts and forwarded old ones, took care of all the back end redirects that needed to happen, and she even suggested some ideas that I loved (submitting your own birth story was a big one!) and gave me some harsh criticism that I didn’t love, but did ::needed:: to hear about my SEO and delivered it all before the deadline.

I want to let you in on something: When I first spoke with Laura about doing my project, she said, “Why aren’t you doing it yourself? You’re totally capable of doing that!” and I want to share my answer with you because I have a feeling that a lot of people are in my shoes – you ::can:: make a WordPress website if you work at it a bit, but you shouldn’t. It’s glaringly obvious when someone does their own site and it’s usually not in a good way that’s obvious. If you are a serious professional, then you need a serious professional to do your website.

The truth is, I hired and paid Laura to do my project because I wanted a professional web designer to build a professional image for our practice. The money I paid Laura is small and insignificant compared to the overall investment into the childbirth education center I built, yet it is without a doubt going to give us the greatest return on our investment. Let that sit with you and think about that. The couch in our reception area cost us more money than Laura’s web design, and yet I assure you that couch won’t be bringing in clients – the website will.

If you want a professional website, then you need to hire 3Design3 because she is a professional web designer, not a hobbyist who is filling in some free time between classes. She runs her business as a business: delivers on time, is an expert in her field, and knows customer service! My business dealings with her design company were easily my favorite part of this entire project from a business perspective. She is on the ball with email, Facebook, texts, phone calls, making it really easy to work remotely without any glitches.
